let's talk about.....make-up
i'm not talking about just a little eye-liner but eye-shadow, the little eyebrow brush things, blush, foundation, and all that other mess.
hey, idk the literal terms for all that!
but WHY?! is my question to all the chicks that wear make-up
what are you covering up?
what is there to hide?
are you insecure without it?
somebody say they wear makeup to cover their blimishes.... uh, HELLO
there's proactiv
and you're wonderful and beautiful made behind all the makeup.
there's s no reason i should be able to tell you're wearing make-up
so here's my call to action: a little lipgloss, some eyeliner maybe but don't over do it.
you can put all that make-up on and at the end of the day you will have to take it all off and really look at yourself in the mirror. tell yourself your beautiful.
its a start to something new.

devotional part one...
these are a few scriptures that i've been meaning to share since i read them Friday.
these are from the new living translations(nlt)
luke 5:31
jesus answered them, "healthy people dont need a doctor-sick people do"
luke 5:32
i have come to call not those who think they are righteous, but those who know they are sinners and need to repent.
luke 5:36
then jesus gave them this illustration: "no one tears a piece of cloth from a new garment and uses it to path an old garment. for then the new garment would be ruined, and the new patch wouldn't even match the old garment
luke 6:20
then Jesus turned to his disciples and said, "God bless you who are poor for the Kingdom of God is yours."
luke 6:21
God blesses you who are hungry now, for you will be satisfied. God blesses you who weep now, for in due time you will laugh.
luke 6:22
what blessing await you when people hate you and exclude you and mock you and curse you as evil because you follow the Son of Man
luke 6:23
when that happens, be happy! Yes, leap for joy! For a great reward awaits you in heaven. And remember, their ancestors treated the ancient prophets the same way.

i've decided to make a blog apart from my natural hair blog(naturallymeee.blogspot.com, which i havent updated since January) so that people can understand me apart from my hair.
my blog may not affect you at all, it may be life-changing, or give you some incite on me but at the end of the day i dont and i wont lose a second of sleep!
the updates that i have will just be things going on in my head, that need to be heard.
maybe not for you but to someone else!
